Can't say enough good things. I had an alternator replaced on an older Toyota 4-Runner (319+k mi.). They found a used one available on my request -- even though it meant more work on their part. Have received honest and fair pricing on the alternator, as well as other work/estimates on another vehicle. Great people all-around! Oh yeah, the alternator work was great as well. I finally got to put it to use on the mountain. All good!

I paid over $3000 to have the transmission replaced/fixed in my vehicle. Got it back and less than 2000 miles later (two weeks approx) the transmission went out again. The new repairman said it was potentially faulty service of the previous work (he even contacted James to try to work out a solution). However, James will not even tell us what shop actually did the work on my transmission. I don't understand why this would be withheld from a consumer. Also, why I had to pay another $2000 to get my transmission fixed again when he said it was fully repaired less than a month prior to that.

The absolute best mechanics in town and in the local area. Always very friendly and actually wants to fix your vehicle. The folks at nite owl have always been able to help me and I've seen them do some amazing repairs to others vehicles.

My girlfriend and I were foolishly driving her P.O.S. Mazda over the mountains loaded down with all our stuff, and SURPRISE SURPRISE... it started overheating because of a fan malfunction.
