Was turned away for service on my new GMC because they said they were too busy to even look at a vehicle. Disappointing service after buying a new vehicle from GMC

We recently brought our GMC Acadia for a scheduled service and some warranty work. William, our service adviser, simply wowed us. I had a doctor appointment and had to leave quickly after we dropped off the car, but William called within a few minutes to apprise us of the status of the car and promised to try to have it back by the end of the day. I was therefore pleasantly surprised when William called before noon to tell us the car was ready! It was nice to be able to pick up the car with the service done, the problem fixed, and on top of this, to see it had been washed for us. Not accepting GMC vehicle 🚗 that was not purchased at their dealership. What a behavior for a huge manufacturer. Certified letter is going out today to GM Management. Hopefully it will make some difference for future customer.

The oil change outside can be completed in half an hour at most, but here it has been 2 hours and still not completed. The high charge is not because the work is good, but because it takes much longer than others.

If you are especially lucky, you will have the privilege of dealing with Gloria Alvarenga. She is friendly, professional, responsive, and an all around pleasure to do business with. She made my experience so easy and efficient, and she is such a delightful person. Those are qualities that make a difference when dropping your car for service. Instead of feeling hassled, Gloria made the process feel seamless. Her detailed attention to customer care and her friendly disposition goes above and beyond!
