I would have preferred to have the experience that others have had, but I have had a very, very different and negative experience with North Bend automotive. In June I scheduled an appointment with them to change the transmission fluid in my car. I was told it was about an hour job and to drop it off. I went to pick up my car the next day and went inside, only to be told the excuse of “we are so busy, we will get to it tomorrow.” I went to pick up my car the next day and it was not done. At this point, I needed my car. I tried to be understanding, but was very disappointed and frustrated. Fast-forward to October 22nd. I decided to stop in and see if they had time to change my transmission fluid. He told me I can come by tomorrow (23rd) at xx time and they would fit it in. You can imagine

Don’t make the mistake I did. Go to Kings Auto instead, it’s 10min away. I’m still recovering from the $910 hole they left me in to not fix my car in any way. They put in faulty spark plugs in my engine which happens. It’s not always possible to guarantee quality of parts. The unfortunate part is that error led them to believe the old coils needed to be replaced, so I paid for that (+$293) and when that didn’t fix the error they suggested the new coils might be bad. Rather than bring it in a 3rd time, decided to take my car to Kings auto. Alan found the problem within a day and gave me new spark plugs (+394). Ryan and the crew worked on my 1961 Thunderbird and did amazing work. The car had to be dragged into the lot because all the tires were locked up. They kept the car for a few months and treated it like it was their car. They did all the big, and little things that mattered. Thanks!

Ryan and his technician’s have been great to work with. I run a business and have been taking all of my vehicles to them for years now. It’s hard to find an honest and reasonable shop now a days that you can trust.

After having our car overheat due to a poor oil service change last month (not at this location) when they did not top off the coolant and warn us about a potential leak, North Bend Automotive was very accommodating. We called ahead on Friday of Memorial Day and said we were being towed to their location. We described our circumstances of traveling from MT to WA to see our son before he deployed and they said they would be available to diagnose the issue. We got there and very quickly they/we determined the car was done and needed a new engine. They allowed us to store it there free of charge while they and we researched engine options. They were very friendly, professional, and accommodating. If I lived in this area they would be a service I would use.
