North County Smog Auto Repair San Marcos

Went today for a smog check(walk-in). Was immediately greeted and they had really cool shop dogs that set up a super cool shop vibe. Ac was blowing nice and cold on a hot day. Both Advisor and Service Technician had a high level of professionalism and handled a busy rush hour with ease and structure. I can see why this shop has been so successful. Continue to do what you are doing Scotty and Staff!! Will be back with my other cars!!! Thank you.

Zero stars. AVOID at all cost. Eager to grab your money. Horrible experience. Poor leadership, profit before service. Charged for for a smog test without a result. Said it will take 25 minutes. Took an hour and then said he can’t pass my vehicle. Charged me full price as if it was complete. Told me to come back next week after driving the needed distance for reconnect of battery , which caused no result . Then he wants to charge me the whole smog test price again! Offered a $10 discount. Unethical business practice, and a horrible experience. Disgraceful, there are better choices in San Marcos

Got my smog done here, great service, in and out in about 30 minutes, little light on the parking, but everyone was very nice and there's "shop dog" that's cute as can be!
