After combing through numerous options, I took my car to be repaired at SoCal Auto, and my experience was so top notch at every level, I wanted to share it here since I know it can be challenging to find honest and reliable service. After arriving, Chris (the owner) came out to greet me and asked what I came in for. My vehicle has a number of issues, and explained that I was on a budget and can’t do it all in one visit, but that I’d like to at least have an idea of what costs on everything may be so I can budget for them. He looked over a few things and very kindly explained what he recommended prioritizing and what could be postponed without jeopardizing safety. Chris and his crew have been awesome! Professional, knowledgeable and ethical. My Mom first brought her car to Chris in 2019 (I think) and he treated her with such respect. Treated her fairly and did NOT take advantage of an elderly lady. So I started taking my 2012 Tiguan to him. Now I have a 2017 Tiguan and it’s starting to need repairs. I just took it to Chris today with Check Engine light and codes lit up. At 102k miles I was prepared for a big repair. Turns out just needed new spark plugs and 1 coil. Chris quickly diagnoses the problem and promptly supplies the quote. Never any surprises. His prices are very fair- and he sticks to the quote. I feel so lucky to have found an honest, and trustworthy PROFESSIONAL.

I came in as a walk-in to get my intake hose replaced since my car couldn’t pass the smog test. I explained everything to Christopher and he was able to take my car in the same day. He was very transparent about pricing (which was very reasonable) and communication was great the whole time from when the parts would arrive to when my car was ready to pick up. He even went the extra step of notifying the smog place next door that my car was ready for a retest which made the whole process completely hassle free. I have know Chris for years and bring all my vehicles to him because he is honest, trustworthy, and does amazing work. I also really appreciate that he takes the time to explain everything to me. I’ve had two different cars that have needed everything from an oil change to a radiator replacement that you can think of, and Chris has consistently gone above and beyond.
