North End Subaru Service

Bought a 2017 Honda civic from here and my check engine light came on about a month later. Called to have it looked at and was told to drop off and I’ll get a loaner car for the day while my car gets fixed. I get a phone call 2 days before the appointment and get told that there was a “schedule mixup” with the loaner car availability and they actually won’t have one available for me. I was given the option to either drop my car off for the scheduled day, or wait another week and then they’ll have a loaner car available for me. I told them I’ll still drop the car off on the scheduled day and I’m fine with not having a loaner car. I go to the service center the day off my appointment, and I’m told my appointment isn’t today it’s actually next week. I show them the text confirming my appointm

This place is a 2019 lvl dumpster fire. I had to bring my subie back the next day because the oil pressure switch broke while my car was in their care. Instead of working with me to solve the problem, being honest, straightforward, or apologetic, the service department reps insisted it must have been like that when I first brought the car in and tried to charge me $399 to fix it AND up-sell me $400 in maintenance svcs (but they don't work on commission?so, why?). When I told them I have dated proof it wasn't, they half back-peddled, saying they forgot to do an initial inspection so they have no way of knowing what state it was in originally. There are plenty of other decent subaru mechanics in this part of MA, don't bother w North End Subaru.

Top notch service keeps the Averill fleet of cars running well. They are always moving picking up juice, grapes and fruit to make wine.

last minute Saturday break down of the wife's car.... they had a loaner and figured out the issue and had it fixed in a couple days.... great service
