Northgate Transmission In

Northgate rebuilt a transmission for us on a vehicle we barely drive. It unfortunately had a faulty part that manifested shortly after the warranty period ended. They went above and beyond to make things right for us. We appreciated them so much! We would highly recommend northgate transmission.

Our vehicle was leaking transmission fluid on our way to Yellowstone from CA. We had a transmission shop in Boise, ID to fix it, but found that the leaking was worse. We were lucky to find Northgate Transmission in Idaho Falls who is willing to take a look of it. Dennis Thompson was amazing. He came up with a solution that we didn't have to wait a day or two for the genuine part. He saved our vacation. Ray was very friendly too. Tina, the front desk lady, even gave us a ride to a great local restaurant while we were waiting. We highly recommend them to anyone!

Transmission wasn't shifting out of third gear. Thought I would have to replace or rebuilt it. Come to find out it was a ignition switch. Very honest and I got my truck back the next day.very fair price and the only pace I will take my vehicles for repair.I give north gate transmission 10 stars plus.

These folks are awesome. They provided a fair estimate for a transmission rebuild. The job was completed in a timely manner. The repair was effective and they beat their estimate. What else is there to say? I recommend them to anyone seeking competent work done to their vehicles.
