He did the same valve cover gasket job 3 times in under 1.5 years, VTEC solenoid gasket 2 times in under a year, resulting in 2 $500 alternator jobs. The most recent event: He "diagnosed" an oil leak (valve cover). He missed the oil spewing from the spool valve onto the alternator. I had to return to the shop to point it out to him. Too late: this omission trashed the alternator. Another $500! Wife's been without her car for a month trying to set this straight. Get it right already! What's more, last year he took payment ($1800) to replace the rear spool valve on another vehicle (CRV), only to tell me after the car was uninspectable due to Honda frame rot (BTW, the spool valve failed within 1 month). Thanks pal! Also, he did a winter tire change-over, but left one lug on each tire untorque

Art and Nortons Auto are excellent. I called one morning and got in contact with Art regarding a ‘15 Buick Encore overheating and undrivable that had not been being driven other than around the block once a week or so for a year and a half as well as an F250 with some front end noise. Art was able to get me in just 2 business days later, and seemed to be the type that somehow probably wouldve accomodated if I had seemed eager for it to be done sooner. His communication was amazing and he answered the phone every time I called. He found very minor problems on the buick and truck (a miracle), resolved what was needed, and had them available for us to pick up within just hours of dropping them off, respectively- cant say this will be everyones experience as we definitely lucked out on not nee

Very organized and on-time with my appointment for an inspection and oil change. I also asked the mechanic to check my transmission fluid and he was very honest in saying that it simply needed to be topped up (not changed). He was also VERY HONEST in saying that my front rotors and pads were "barely passable." Many mechanics would simply fail my inspection on those grounds and then leave me paying another $500 for a brake job but they were honest and now I can do that work myself. The oil change was a little spendy ($79.99 for synthetic) but overall I definitely recommend Norton's.

Harry Norton is a great mechanic and very mindful of his clients needs and requests. I never feel like he is overcharging ( on the contrary probably less than he could ), and to top it off I feel welcome when I call him over the phone to ask him a question about my car! His advice is always good. Great guy and a clean shop!
