Having worked in the automotive industry in sales, service (both as a tech., and director overseeing parts and service), and then on the administrative and finance side, Moe & Oakland Auto Sales are amoung the very-very rare few that still exude all of the positive characterists one would hope for when shopping for a used car. Although in my particular case, I did not "need" the car I purchased, as I was looking to simply add to a fleet of personal vehicles, Moe did not let this influence any part of this sale, as he still treated me and our transaction with urgency and care. What is there not to say about this place!!! The service, the people, the vehicles and so much more are worth the trip. I watched this dealership for about a year and constantly viewed cars leaving off the lot left and right. So, I finally decided to purchase a car and went to many places but ended at Oakland Motors in Manchester, CT. I have never been to a car dealership (large or small) and had the kind of service that I received. I recommend them over high-end dealers any day. I am so satisfied that I wouldn't even buy a new car even if I could, not over Oakland. The folks are graceful and understand any situation you may have. I can’t say enough good things about this place. When I looked over the 2012 Explorer I wanted, I noticed the axle boot was leaking grease, I didn’t say anything, because I was already inquiring about them replacing the brakes and rotors before purchase because they were clearly warped and not in the best condition. They agreed to doing the brakes and rotors, and to my surprise they even told me they changed the axle and a rear caliper that needed replacing. This meant a lot to me because this showed they are HONEST. I saw that it needed to be replaced soon, didn’t say anything, and they still changed it because they saw it needed to be done. They also flushed the fluids and did a fresh emissions on it. They thoroughly have gone above and beyond for me throughout this whole process and I a
