Ohio Living Rockynol

I do not recommend anyone sending their elderly parent to this place. After my grandmothers sister passed away at 100 years old, they went to her room to remove her belongings and found her door cracked open and not secure. The staff or someone in the building ransacked her room, throwing everything in drawers throughout the room. They stole anything worth of value.

Resubmitting my review. Took my first one down to give my parents a chance to move out without adding any drama to their already stressful move. They lived in independent living for approximately 9 years. They had good friends there and good experience with many staff. However, price has steadily increased while quality has decreased. Not thinking they would make another move in their lives they decided to move after the CEO was going to make them spend $4000 to fix carpet in their apartment for an aparrrent bad smell. Once they decided to move the CEO visited their apartment for the first time to discuss them telling residents he kicked them out. They never told anyone that and made it clear to all they decided to move. They also were clear with their unhappiness with this current CEO. I

My father was a resident in both the assisted living and skilled nursing areas. The care he recieved was extraordinary in every way! He recently passed away, and the entire team was a blessing to our family. I cant say enough good things about Rocknol! They were family to us! Thank you.

My family member has been here about 10 months in assisted living and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff, aides and nurses are so friendly and the service has been top notch. The facility is new and beautiful and the food service is excellent with many options at each meal period. It is the perfect environment that has allowed for greater social interaction and friendships to be formed. They have many activities and a weekly cocktail party for the residents with monthly outings to either a restaurants. I think a family has to do months of research in picking what place is the best for their family member and base their decision on many factors for it to work out best.

Recently my grandparents had to enter a nursing/assisted living facility. We did the research that we could, and thought Rockynol/Ohio Living was the place. Unfortunately, we made the wrong decision. I personally would advise you to make this the last place you would ever send your loved one. Very bad experiences with aides. Very poor service. We paid for services that were never given, they split my grandparents into different units, on separate floors, in order to bill for two rooms. I have family members that worked in similar facilities. Every other facility does everything possible to keep a husband and wife together. Rockynol did not, they didnt care. If you love your family member, go elsewhere. YOU WILL REGRET SENDING THEM HERE. You've been warned.
