Olde Cape Carwash

Brought my truck and my jeep over Friday morning and afternoon for a wash. The two people spraying were thorough and did a very good job! When I got to the end of the tunnel with my truck being pretty big , I was apparently to close to the door out on my passenger side and one of the guys quickly told me to turn my wheel to not scrape it! Whether I could’ve scraped is not the issue but the fact that he was paying attention enough to tells me that he cares too! So happy to have in our little town and hopefully with all the construction and building going on there it will be there for many years to come! Thanks again!

The best car wash east of Hyannis, but their short hours are a big drawback. The drive-thru wash is closed on Sunday and only open until 5:00 pm on weekdays and 4:30 pm on Saturday. On top of that, I have often gotten there 15-20 minutes before those posted closing times only to find them already shut, which is very frustrating. When they are open, they do a great job. The wash is fast and thorough, and the car comes out nice and clean. Having the car hand-dried by their friendly staff is a nice touch, although you will still have to get out and finish the job yourself if you want to make sure your vehicle is completely dry. Worst car wash I ve ever been to. I am talking about the self service. Don t know about the tunnel. But the self service is underwhelming. If you re thinking about it do yourself good and wash your car with the garden hose in front of your house with a little bit of dawn if you don t have any car shampoo and I guarantee you will have better results. The brushing foam it s barely dripping some foam which the only thing it does it s to spread the dirt all over the car. The high pressure shampoo it s just water with a little bit more pressure than a regular garden hose. However you still pay 15$ at least for an SUV size. I tried the car wash twice. Once with the bike and once with my car. Both horrible experiences. It s just a rip off and I got some beautiful marks on my bike s paint too

The owner has posted signs around warning not to wash certain parts of your vehicle or boats in any fashion to allow anything toxic to go down the drain, this is very important and I don't begrudge him at all, however at the self-service one of these signs was over the credit card machine, and a critical sign about how to turn the clock off on the machine was to my left and out of my line of sight, as a result I made an error and was overcharged. It was not a lot of money, but as they say, it is the principle that counts. I have showed a photo, fortunately or unfortunately I caught half of the sign that shows the credit card instructions, but you can see it on the left, and it is hard to miss the other warning sign that is directly above the credit card machine.
