I have dealt with Open Road Customs for a few years now. They have done excellent work on my 2008 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic,from changing both of my Dunlop tires to original again cheaply,my required HD mileage services, check engine light because of defective ECU pins,NKG plugs, K&N air filter, brakes, bearings, rejuvenating my original battery and now with all of my front end lights with H4 and 881 LED lights. Man are they ever bright. Harley Davidson acknowledges Jimmy's business as an official motorcycle repair shop and will honor your Harley Davidson extended warranty. Heck, they even have given me a discount because I was a Marine. So if you want an option to getting your bike back on the road, but don't want to go to a Harley Davidson Dealer for your motorcycle rep

I highly recommend NOT taking your bike here!! My husband dropped his bike off here 18 months ago for some work and had to hire a lawyer just to get the bike back in peices also with peices missing!! We got the bike back in WAY worse condition than what we took it in. Honestly we are lucky we got it back at all!! The guy who owns the shop had a million excuses when he finally answered the phone but it was clear that he was not working on the bike and had ill intentions. We just couldn't get it back because the shop was always closed and no one was ever there!! And from what we have heard is we are not the only ones to have had to deal with this!! There are lots of other bike shops around please do your research and save yourself the heart ache and waste of money.

After $2,400 and almost 18 months I had to hire a lawyer to send a certified letter to get my bike back, after all of that I still haven't got all the parts for my bike. Think twice about who you take your bike to and do some research first. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a business!

My husband took our soft tail to this place over a year ago for a tuneup. We have not been able to get the bike back. The owner was first responding with a million excuses why he wasn’t done with the bike and now he’s not responding at all. We have resorted to hiring an attorney to help us get the bike back.

Open Road Customs May not be open the hours we all want but let me tell you that Jimmy gets so much done in that time. Jimmy has to close shop just to cover the repairs he has taken in. Not only that,Jimmy has to be the best V-twin mechanic not only in Lancaster but in the surrounding cities. I have even heard first hand, endorsements from the local H-D shop on his work. Now that says something about his shop. The shop and part prices are fair and the work is excellent. I also like that it is a family business. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for work on my bike. 5 star shop !
