O'Reilly Auto Parts

Came inside for a couple small things and stood at the register for 20 minutes waiting for someone to cash me out and ended up walking out because no one came

Normally when shopping for auto parts it is a matter of convince for me. I like getting everything I need in one spot. Today, as I have many times before, I visited O'Reilly auto parts in Greensburg, PA. I actually made 2 trips in today. The 1st time I was looking for a lawn and garden battery for my tractor. Michelle was fantastic and really went out of her way to make sure I got the one I needed. The 2nd trip I decided today was the day for new front brakes on my truck. I am confused by the million different brand names and styles of brake pads. I tow an RV with my family. Safety is the only choice. I had picked out what I thought to be a pretty middle of the road set of pads and rotors. On this trip I was helped by Lyle, an Assistant Manager. Lyle represents what good customer service

I was traveling thru pa when my 45ft rv broke down, it was Saturday night at midnight before the tow truck pulled me out of the mud( yes broke down and got stuck in mud) slept til 4am Sunday morning got up and started on my mission to find help repairing my rv.Well after trying 8 different places trying not to overheat I was recommended to go and see O'Reilly's Auto parts they have everything. Exhausted frustrated and anxious I walked in met a gentleman named Tom told him my woes he said to me and I quote you found the right place and then proceeded to not only locate the parts that were impossible to find but to actually supply me with the tools I needed to complete the repair everybody in that store chipped in to help me as well as some of the customers it was a life-changing experience

Had wonderful experiences here for the most part. Then there was that one day that changed my whole outlook on this store and have not been back since. Very cocky employee who thought he knew everything about everything and told us that because they didn't not carry a tool I was looking for that such thing did not exist....he was so sure of this because he "worked in a garage ONCE and had two tool boxes with tools in. In the same trip sold the person I was with the cheapest spark plug for their car instead of asking if they knew the kind that were to be in there and gave no options. I made it a point to get ahold of management for this store because I could go on about how bad that experience was with that employee. Doubt I'll be back in the future.

These folks are always ready to help us with our projects we have going on. Bailed me out today cause I was stranded. by delivering a part I needed to get me back on road. Much appreciated keep it up the great work. 👍
