Steven is the definition of outstanding customer service. My driver broke down in Rocky Mount, VA with a failed alternator on our 2023 Silverado 3.0L Duramax. It’s a tough part to find on short notice, and after calling around, most places just said “we don’t have it” and hung up. Not Steven. Even though O’Reilly didn’t have the alternator in stock (and honestly, hardly anyone does for the newer Duramax), Steven spent a ton of time on the phone helping us. He looked up the correct part number, confirmed the 220-amp spec, checked surrounding stores, and then went the extra mile: he told us exactly which nearby Chevrolet dealerships were most likely to have it in stock on a weekend and even suggested which ones to call first. I was referred to O’Reilly Auto Parts by an auto repair shop to buy a part needed for a tow dolly repair. I had a tight window since I was only in the area for a couple days. I brought the worn part to the store and Dave Christian helped me immensely going above and beyond to find a part. He was unable to locate a perfect match, but he found a suitable replacement that worked for the repair shop. If I lived here, I would be a repeat customer.
