Park Creek Place

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Park Creek Place, particularly their Memory Care residence. My father, who lives with dementia, was a resident there for over nine months, having moved from out of state. From the moment he arrived, the level of care and compassion he received was truly exceptional, providing immense peace of mind for our family. The facility is very clean and bright, with lots of windows letting in natural light, especially through the central courtyard around which all of the communal rooms and hallways radiate. The lobby area and central meeting area resembles a whimsical, airy, and fun recreation of a classic, traditional New England town square where the residents meet for fun activities. My mother was a resident at Park Creek Place for the last 2 1/2 years in the memory care unit. It was a little rough in the beginning however, with the new staff and management, the facility has become a true family oriented group. The staff are attentive. My mother is no longer staying in her room 24 seven. She’s now out and socializing and she smiles constantly. It’s definitely the new staff and the new management and ownership. They’ve actually made a place that we would want her to stay for the rest of her life. Tamara is the new director in the memory care unit. She’s been a true blessing. Everything she’s done has been for the benefit of the residents and has definitely improved my mother‘s attitude immensely. I highly recommend Park Creek Place for all your loved ones care.

Another special shout out to Tamayra “T” and her staff for a fun Friendsgiving Dinner Party. So much fun! The food was delicious and the entertainment was rocking. What a precious moment watching the residents (especially my Dad) laughing, singing, smiling and just really enjoying themselves. It truly filled my heart. So “Thank you” T for the love you show and the care you give to my Dad and the other residents. We are truly blessed, grateful and thankful.

Tamyra is the the Memory care director, she and her team are dedicated, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to cognitive support with our seniors. If you need a friendly ear to talk to, just call and talk to T! She is happy to help you! Very clean, pleasantly decorative memory care community that offers all-inclusive care!

Since Tamayra “T” has come on as memory care director (along with help from her activity assistant and staff) she’s brought new ideas for resident activities and families can get activity pictures sent from the day which is helpful. This past Saturday T planned a Friendsgiving event for families that was so fun! There was a ton of food, karaoke, and live music with family and resident interaction. My mom sang her heart out and so did we. It was a memorable time. They recently hired a new in-house nurse. They have a solid med tech team on staff, but it was extremely difficult to communicate with the past nurse. We hope communication in the future will be more efficient.
