Customer Reviews
Park Ward Motors 10 piston ACDelco AC compressor is an excellent unit for Shadows as well as one of the few remaining experts (service and sellers of RR) on maintaining the Shadow series car. To start I am not a do it yourself mechanic so what I did was costly. I converted the AC on my 1978 Shadow 2 from R12 AC system to R134A (I did not want a temporary R12 freon quick fix substitute) I spent 2 months researching converting the AC and found very little info on this subject via the internet (bits and pieces with a lot of info missing) as well as not getting much help from any one source on this subject. I contacted numerous people and spent time and money to learn all aspects of the AC system to get it to work correctly to my satisfaction. (Thank you, Rodd, at Park Ward Motors, Albers Mot
I’ve bought several cars from Park-Ward Motors and I can honestly say I could not be happier. A 79 silver Shadow, an 84 Corniche and a late Silver Spur. There is no other dealer that puts the effort into these cars like Rodd and his team do. I am writing this review after Rodd sharing his disappointment with some recent negative reviews which, I must agree, were of a truly unreasonable nature. I think the record needs to fair. Complaints about a car being dirty on arrival because of the transporter. Seriously? Or a small issue of something that stops working, like a battery. These are classic cars that are +/- 40 years old. Buyers have to reasonable in understanding that things will fail. Its not about “if” but about” when”. You have to take some of this on the chin when buying any older c
Bought a 1980 Silver Shadow II from Park Ward. Paid a premium for their supposed “pre delivery commissioning” boasting that everything would work… it did not. Car arrived with a dead battery (they missed this??) was filthy (they blamed the shipper) amongst several other functions that did not work. Drove the car 172 miles before the brakes completely went, driveway covered in brake fluid. $2000.00 later it was clear to me that PW simply put a coat of wax on it and shipped it off. Seriously 172 miles and the brakes went? Shameful experience. They talk a good game but the reality I personally experienced was nothing that was sold to me by the sweet talk and the flowery vehicle description. Completely ruined my Rolls experience. And I suspect, like several other negative reviews that blame wi
I purchased a 2000 Silver Seraph from the very charming owner Rodd. They took several weeks to prepare the car and make all the necessary repairs before delivery. This attention to detail was the reason I bought the car from Park Ward. However after only 20 miles of driving the car, I received a check engine light and then a check transmission light. Took the car to 2 shops for repair but it was not helpful. Finally I had to tow it to my local Rolls dealer. After a month with them the issues were addressed at a cost of some $15,000. I would be very careful with the charm and be ready to spend 1000's of dollars on repairs . I do not believe they test the cars before shipping them .
We stopped by Park Ward Motors on a whim, and it turned into one of the most memorable car experiences I’ve ever had. The owner personally gave us a free tour, walking us through an absolutely stunning collection of Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicles. You can feel his passion for these cars in every detail. He knew the history, the craftsmanship, and the stories behind every single car. Amazing experience!
