Parkers Automotive and Service

I recently got gifted a 2001 Santa Fe and they didn't exactly keep the best care of it so I've had to go around getting everything fixed like oil changes and wipers and stuff. I wanted to get the AC fixed because I have a hard time with humidity. Because my late father was an auto mechanic, I just have an affinity for small shops over a big corporate garage. Was recommended to Parker's. Prices were "high", but I also haven't heard the prices since 2008 when my father was a mechanic so I'm sure they're honest and reasonable, like they advertise. $900 for an A/C Fix, Brake replacement and oxygen sensor fix, plus probably some minor things but I'm satisfied with Brian's work and would recommend this shop.

Parker’s is a top notch place with integrity. I am so happy with the level of service we receive. I trust Parker’s Automotive with all of my vehicles and all of their needs. They always give information and explain everything so thoroughly to me since I do not know much about cars! It’s so important to find a trustworthy and honest mechanic and they are just that. When I moved to Gig Harbor, I was struggling to find a new trustworthy mechanic and I am so happy to have finally found that. There are so many money hungry and “quick fix” joints that don’t fix cars with quality parts and Parkers isn’t one of those. If you’re looking for a great mechanic, you have found it!!

Being new to Gig Harbor it is always challenging to find someone to trust with your vehicle. We were referred by a friend to Brian and Jessica at Parker’s Automotive. My vehicle needed new spark plugs and some minor other tune up things. As you can tell I am not car savvy. What I do know is my car had lost it’s get up and go and was riding rough. Brian walked me through all the things necessary and did a marvelous job. We are now back up to speed and a smooth ride. I highly recommend this family owned business!

An HONEST automotive technician! Brian is more than just a mechanic. We were on a trip with a deadline to see our daughter's graduation. Had some bad noise coming from the engine compartment so pulled into a parking lot there in Gig Harbor, called Parkers Automotive at someone's recommendation. Couldn't be happier! Brian came to our vehicle, easily diagnosed the noises with his almost 40 years of experience - pulleys going bad. Said he could rearrange his schedule to repair our vehicle and get us on our way the next day. Not to say he would do this in all cases, but Brian and his office manager went way above & beyond to take care of us! THANK YOU! God bless them, they were angels in our time of need! Once repaired we drove all night, but made it on time.

I have been in gig harbor my whole life and the problem is auto shops overcharge out here because it's gig harbor and that's definitely not the case with Parker's Automotive. From the first step to the last step of getting my Toyota T100 fixed everything went perfect, they fixed my issue at a reasonable price and quickly. Our family has five other cars. We are definitely customers for life. Thanks again!
