Beware – misleading pricing, surprise charges, and rude behavior I had a very bad experience at this shop and feel obligated to warn others. I called ahead specifically asking only for a coolant flush and was quoted the lowest price compared to other shops. Based on that quote, I left my car with them. After they had the car, the price suddenly changed. They claimed they performed a “diagnostic” that I never requested or authorized, then tried to charge me an additional diagnostic fee on top of a much higher coolant service price. I was even told I would have to pay the diagnostic fee just to take my car back without any repair. When I questioned this, the response was rude and completely unprofessional. There was no willingness to explain clearly or take responsibility for the price

I've had a couple of vehicles worked on by Del. I trust him completely. The first vehicle I brought in had an issue with a cracked part that Del then repaired. When the check engine light came on after I picked up the vehicle I took it back to Del. He found a servo had gone bad in the same area. He apologized for not checking it earlier, sent his guy in a 2 hour round trip to pick up the part, and then did the repair all without charging me a penny. A good auto repair shop is nice to have. A shop where you believe you are being treated fairly is even better. A shop where the owner has integrity is priceless. Del has all three of these qualities.

We will ONLY bring our vehicles here to be worked on going forward. Del really helped us get my wife’s car blowing cold again in the blistering heat this summer for her and our young kids. Himself and his wife are truly a blessing and we won’t forget what was done to us. Great service , great people, hard working, and HONEST. God knew! Purchased a used vehicle from a resident of NC. Although i reside in Indiana, I prayed to find an honest mechanic shop to diagnose and repair issues prior to flying out to drive vehicle 12hrs back to IN. God led me to Patriot. From the first phone call with Dale, God’s comforting peace assured me all was well. Dale took ill during the days my vehicle was in his care, but he cared enough to make sure i knew the vehicle was safe to drive the distance, and greater. The day i arrived at his location, i wasn’t aware he’d just come out of surgery. This angel made sure one of his mechanics was at the shop to meet me, and make sure i was ok. He even phoned while still being minimally sedated to wish me a safe ride home. Tears fall as i type this review. Ive never physically met this man,

I trusted Patriot Automotive with my 1973 Nova SS. They completed everything I asked for and bent over backwards to ensure I was happy with the end product. I want to thank everyone for helping me out even when we moved 3 hr away. You did a great job!
