Had my 2010 Acadia in due to a coolant leak. Pat called later in the morning already having diagnosed the issue, indicating it needed a new water pump and quoted a very fair price. He had it done by end of day. While it was there I remembered a possible wheel bearing noise and asked it to be looked at. Pat and team road-tested it and said whether wheel bearing or differential, it was not critical at the time but if it got worse to bring it back. I appreciated the added effort (which he did not charge extra for…maybe other places would have) and honest opinion. It had been a while since I had been to Pat’s and he once again was great to deal with. Lucky to have a close-by and honest repair shop. I would recommend anyone go see Pat. 100%.

Called to see if/when they could take my truck that needed an oil change,.check engine light, and other items. I started by asking how much for the oil change. The person on the other end of the phone got upset and asked me why I'm asking about the price of an oil change. He said it's the same everywhere and rushed me off the line before I could ask about the other services needed. I've been a loyal customer of another mechanic for years, but the owner recently passed and they shut down. I was looking for a new local mechanic to build a long term relationship with. It most certainly won't be Pat's after my first impression of rudeness and being dismissed because I simply asked for the price of an oil change.

This is our trusted local mechanic, and I recommend them to a lot of people. There is little they won’t tackle, but if they need to refer you out, they’ll get you to good people. Oil change after oil change, issue after issue issue, Pat has kept our three Toyotas and one Hyundai Tucson on the road by alerting us to situations before they become real problems. They don’t upsell us, and they help us make the right decisions to keep us moving. When you’re tired of overpaying at dealerships, or if you get burned at other places, make Pat your last stop. You’ll probably stick with him the way we have.

Honest, quality work, good pricing. Honest: he warned that tight access to replace miata crank position sensor could turn into a multi-day job if it broke. I agreed to have him replace it, and fortunately it didn't break. he always tells me the risk going in, and has turned down some repairs he wasn't comfortable with (e.g. replace rusted out sub-frame on MB W204). Quality Work - every issue and every car I've brought to Pat's was fixed right the first time and stayed fixed. Labor and part prices are fair...and completed when he said it would be.
