We were looking at new vehicles at six different car dealers. We were greatly impressed by all the honestly friendly & accommodating people at Penz Rochester Subaru and I mean ALL of them there. These folks actually cared about what we wanted in a vehicle and how we wanted to do things. They, even, went ahead of trading with another dealer, just to get the car color we were for, even though we did not ask or expect it. We just were driving to Rochester to test drive cars. Well, we drove home with our new Forester and finished all the paperwork within a couple of hours, because we had little time before needing to leave town. I can’t say enough great things about Subaru of Rochester! I brought my Subaru Legacy in for an oil change, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. When I arrived, I was told they knew I had an appointment but had a couple of unexpected situations that required two employees to leave for the day. They were very upfront and let me know it could take 3–4 hours, while also giving me a few options. Since I had driven two hours for this appointment, I chose to stay—and I’m so glad I did. Madysen helped me from start to finish and was absolutely AMAZING. Once she heard how far I had traveled, she did everything she could to speed up the process. This was my first time buying a car at all and I had no idea what I was looking for or even what to look for. When I sat down with Jordan I was completely honest with him about my finances, trade in, and lack of experience and he was very helpful. He helped me get an idea of what I wanted and what features I liked best in a car. I was nervous because I’ve heard dealerships are known to price gauge and over charge but that was not the case here. He showed me vehicles within my price range and had what I wanted and showed me their features, mileage, and age. Financing through them was also a much simpler process than I expected and really took a load off of what I expected to be a super stressful process. Had a great visit at the dealership today! Adam was knowledgeable and answered all my questions, told me what needed to be done and what I could put off till another day! Had to use three different shuttles and all were professional and friendly, and got me where I needed to go safe! Was greeted when I walked in with a smile from any staff I ran into, you can tell they like their job and really want to make sure I love what I drive! Five stars, will be back!

I have been using Subaru of Rochester for several years. The quality of service has fluctuated quite a bit in that time. Between my car and my girlfriend’s car, there have been some hiccups, both with the service itself and in the communication from the dealership. My most recent experience with Madyson went pretty well. The inspection was done quickly and the repairs started promptly. They communicated one repair that popped up while the approved repairs were being done. The main reason I’m not giving 5 stars is they did not reset my tire pressure display for imperial units (psi), and from what I can tell, they did not check the actual tire pressures. This happened last time they did a tire rotation as well. The front and rear on my Outback are different, and should be adjusted when the
