I would give it zero stars if I could. Called and told the shop guy, Larry, exactly what was going on with my daughter’s car. It was an oil leak. He was 100% aware of the situation and advised us to bring it in. We were told multiple different things each time we spoke with them during this process. First off, when he called me, he told me “this is the valve cover gasket and it’s the only thing NOT covered under the warranty. It’ll be over $400 for me to fix this.” I said okay let me speak with my husband. My husband called and the shop guy, Larry told him “the entire corner of the gasket is missing, that’s the issue.” We spoke with the car lot where we got the vehicle and the warranty company only find out THEY LIED. I am giving this pepboys location zero for lack of professionalism. I made an appointment and show up few minutes late because of bad weather. I was late because the same new tire that I had purchased was skidding and unsafe to drive so I showed up few minutes. Mr. Larry was extremely rude and unprofessional man. This is not the first time hes behaving in such unprofessional manner. He done this in the past and I overlook this behavior. I agent Mr. Larry at the counter saying he will not see me because I’m 20 minutes late. I told him it’s snowing and my tires are not very good that I’m late. I have to wait until the road is safe to drive giving that the new tires that I purchased in less than a month is skidding. I went to PepBoys out of convenience. Quoted nearly $1700 for a repair that a dealership gave me an $1100 quote for. Nearly $700 labor for a 2 hour repair is exorbitant by any standard. They also overcharge for evacuation and recharge of the AC system by over $100. Gave faulty information in an attempt to influence me into having them do the repair as well. They advertise an AC diagnostic on their website for $55. Nearly $150 later, I had my AC diagnosed. I should have checked their reviews prior to having them run diagnostics on my vehicle. That is a mistake that I will not make again.

I thought my rear brake pads were worn to replacement and with that most of the time the Rotors must be changed. I still had plenty of brake pad s remaining. I cannot say enough about this Auto shop as far as integrity goes. Some independent shops would of sold pads and rotors..$450-$500. Thanks for the FREE brake inspection!

Great experience made an online appointment selected tires that I wanted. Very easy process. I dropped off my car as scheduled Larry met me in the parling lot to take my keys and informed me that the tire I requested was not in stock and he would upgrade my order at no additional cost. Then Larry called me in about an hour to let me know the service was complete. Planning to go back for the other two tires in a few weeks.
