Brought my car in for an oil change / tire rotation. Great customer service from Valerie, Evelyn & Erick! They inspected my vehicle and kept me updated throughout the repair. I also scheduled an alignment for my other 2 vehicles. Looks like they have a brand new Hunter alignment machine. Thanks again!

I love taking my car here they are so quick to fix it and completely transparent about pricing. Valerie is an angel, she is always great at explaining what’s wrong with my car and what I need to get done and why. This last time I took my car in they told me they wouldn’t have the part until Friday and it was ready Thursday because they got it in early and got to work!

I was having bad car problems, and my car was starting up really rough. I took it to Pep Boys and they instantly figure out the situation. My battery was five years old and completely dead. They replaced it within minutes and I had an oil change that was done real quickly as well. Staff is really nice and helpful. Will love to return for help in the future.

Update: Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Pep Boys in Chico, they have still not contacted me to resolve the issues I have encountered. They have lied to their corporate office multiple times, claiming to have reached out and resolved the situation. When I called them, the woman claiming to be the manager now denies being the manager and says she needs to speak to someone else to help me. Thousands of dollars worth of damage have been done, and they continue to put me on the back burner in hopes that I will go away. All I am asking for is a resolution to the problems I have faced.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my car to Pep Boys because my check engine light was on. They kept my car all day, diagnosed it, and charged me nearly $600 to replace an O2 sensor. Less than one hour after picking it up, the check engine light came back on again. I went to a second shop who found the REAL issue — a fuel system problem and failing injectors — meaning Pep Boys completely misdiagnosed my vehicle and charged me for a repair that did not fix anything. I tried to resolve it directly and was told multiple times that a store manager or area manager would call me back.
