I've been meaning to add this review for months but never got to it. In March I brought my car to Pep Boys in Haskell for a nail in my tire, they patched it quickly and I went drove to work. Halfway there I realize my engine is smoking and when I opened my hood saw that Pep Boys checked my motor oil and never put the oil cap back causing oil to leak all over my engine causing what would end up being $1200 in clean up costs. When I called Pep Boys to bring this up to hopefully resolve the issue they denied any wrong doing and said it was impossible and that they would not have checked my oil for a tire issue. I’ve saved so much money by coming here instead of the dealership, and I never worry about unnecessary repairs. I brought my 2019 Kia Sorrento into Pep Boys today for maintenance and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Brittany and Amanda at the front desk were welcoming, professional, and very accommodating, making the process smooth and stress-free. My car was serviced by Dwayne, who did an outstanding job. He was meticulous with the work, and I could tell he took pride in making sure everything was done right. The service I received was top-notch, and the price was very reasonable for the quality of care my vehicle received. I left feeling confident and appreciated as a customer. This place is the best. Been coming here for years. They do a through job and have always been able to accommodate my crazy schedule. The two managers I’ve meet so far have been super and will continue to utilize this fine establishment for my 4 cars.
