Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

Purchases a car from Carvana in July of 25. 3 days later I heard brake noises. Took the car to pepboys because that was the in network provider. I asked them to check iver the vehicle to ensure if any repairs needed to be made, they could fix it while Carvana was financially responsible. They told me if I dropped off the car on Thursday, it would be done by Friday!! Well they had my car for 11 days!! They changed the “promise by date” on the paperwork to match the pickup date. I lost my NEW second job as a result of not being able to get to get there. Which left me struggling to make the first car payment. Now JUST 5 months later Im hearing a scrubbing brake noises AGAIN!!! I take the car back…… FRONT BRAKES NEED REPLACING……and the swollen lugnuts that were in dire need of replacing , they

Aside from short staffing issues during the first snow rush and they forgot to reattach the air intake hose after filter inspection i am happy with counter service, shop service, price and tires. Would suggest opening the website online appointment scheduler and then get them on the phone before you pick a slot to insure availability, more so if it is the busy season such as the first heavy snow.

Horrible Service at Kalamazoo Pep Boys! Went to my tire reservation at open and was told my reservation meant nothing. The unprofessional manager said he could work me in but would take 2 to 5 hours for my car to get in because only one tire guy was scheduled. That's the manager problem for not adequately schedule for service not my problem as a customer. So I went to my car, used their courtesy wifi, and booked a reservation at Walmart that was cheaper on top of it all. Why would anyone use Pep Boys?

The guys here were great! I had a weird electrical thing going on and they checked it out quickly on the 23rd of December and had me on my way with no problems. I felt safer knowing it had been checked out and they didn’t try to “upsell” me on a thousand things just because I’m female. I appreciated that.

The guys I dropped my car off to had excellent customer service skills and made sure my items stayed secure. I left while they were working my on my vehicle, came back and ended up in traffic. By the time I made it to the store they were closed, but the workers stayed behind so I could get my vehicle. Extremely grateful to them for not just closing up and making me come back. They were great! New tires were amazing and loving the new grip!
