Gilbert is a great leader and it appears that he is doing his best to assemble to solid team. With guys like Jose and J, its coming together. They go out of their way to take very good care of my vehicles. They conduct very honest business and try to make sure all customers are taken care of. I drive over an hour just to do business with Gilbert, bypassing several Pep Boys’ along the way. When Gilbert left Quakertown and transitioned to Whitehall, so did I.

My 2020 Silverado RST with a Duramax 3.0L broke down over 200 miles from home and we towed it to Whitehall Pep Boys, as we were not familiar with the area and they were open on Sunday. I was already pretty confident it was a bad alternator and relayed this information to the service counter personnel when checking in. I was told that they could get it diagnosed and fixed by close of business and get us back on the road. I never heard from Pep Boys the rest of the Sunday and my phone call shortly before closing time was not answered. Monday morning I get an OnStar notification that my battery was dead, but I still did not receive a phone call from Pep Boys. I had my Jeep, that I love so, so much, towed to Pep Boys. I thought the repairs would be minimal…I actually just thought the check engine light was on because it needed to be reset after an oil change… holy moly was I wrong! The # of things wrong with it blew my mind! I dealt with Casey and I trust Pep Boys to be honest and upfront with me as they have been for the past 20 years with my husband and I and our various cars throughout the years. I literally gasped after I heard the amount of $$ it would cost to fix it. Casey understood that all of that $$ was a huge obstacle. He showed true compassion and spoke to his boss, and Casey called me back to let me know they’d work with me. What a huge relief. My husband and I are so grateful. Thank you so much Casey!!!!

Gilberto, Jose and Patricio - the “Three Wise Men” I call them. Professionalism at its best! Expressed by all 3 individually, also collectively as a team. Beyond that - good people - who show care, concern and offer flexibility to help in anyway they can. I can honestly say it did not feel like a corporate tire shop that I was in, while I was at the store - I felt welcomed, at home, and taken care of, with a smile and friendly demeanor 😊 oh yeah, They are really great mechanics too! 🔧 * Google should have a 10 star rating capability for these folks 🚘 - I highly recommend giving them a shot:

I had a terrible experience at Pep Boys. I arrived early in the morning and was told my car would be ready by 12:00 PM since they had the equipment needed. By 1:32 PM, I still hadn’t received any updates, so I asked what was going on. Everyone who had been helping me earlier had already left. One employee said parts had already been installed, but then another came out and said they hadn’t touched my car at all and were missing a part. They were calling other locations to try to get it. This meant I had been waiting for nothing. I was then told it would be another 45 minutes, so I said forget it and paid for the diagnostic. I even asked for a discount for all the wasted time, and they told me, “maybe if you look online for coupons.” which felt dismissive after waiting 5 hours wait not be
