Imagine owning a vehicle for more than 40 years. In December of 1993, we bought our 1984 Chevrolet Squarebody, our first new vehicle. With 97,000 miles on it, we are on the 4th motor / transmission combo. And this setup is 6 years old. It has never been "right." It ran and drove, but nowhere near the fun this truck should have! Performance and Repair Specialities changed that. Dropping the vehicle off with the request: make it shift right and run better. Picking the vehicle up and riving it home, it feels like it should, quick, precise shifting and smooth acceleration. And all with a very reasonable price. Kelly and his crew did a thorough assessment of Betty and gave me confidence that she was reliable and safe to drive. Kelly fabricated a bracket and specialized my driver seat so that I could actually look over the steering wheel, which is always a good thing, as well as made it hard for anyone else to fit which is even better! They are fantastic to work with and are creative in problem solving with any vehicle - new or old. Highly recommend!

I was unaware of Performance and Repair Specialties until this evening as I was heading out to buy a part I had to settle on from another shop. Performance and Repair Specialties was the only shop in all of Central OR and perhaps the state that had a 7 way wire harness with junction box. Not to mention their price was comparable to anything I found on the intranet. Amazing find and excellent customer service taboot.
