I have came to this shop a few times over the years, and Joel has had some of the best communication, efficiency, and quotes of any car shop I've ever been to. A few years ago, the head gasket blew and I brought it in. I called around to 10+ shops, and he gave me by far the best quote. He finished the job in a timely manner, in addition to answering any of my questions in detail. I just had my brakes, alignment, tire rotation, oil change, and AC failure diagnosis done yesterday, all once again for a great price and finished everything I'd needed in a day. His shop partner even gave me a ride to the library when I dropped the car off in the morning. They also have sent photos and videos of different issues to keep me in the loop and explain what was going on. I will definitely be back again

My daughter wanted to build her stock 05 WRX for her senior project. I have a professional Mechanic Friend that owns BSR mobile repair and fabrication. My friend agreed to be my daughter’s mentor for the build. After an entire year of constant work on her car we got to a point where we needed a clutch job. I myself put about $11K from my retirement into this car. We put a bunch of mods, new turbo, new motor, exhaust and fuel system. Joel is my neighbor and agreed to do the clutch job for $500. So we had the car towed to PII. About a week after dropping off the car Joel called me to tell me that the clutch was done and that he was going to send it to tune for the first start. Performance imports has had a troubled past, heard many negative after my car was finished before the new owner stepped in. I was missing a gates belt and I asked the new owner about the whole situation and sorted me out quickly and was responsive unlike old owner. I’m happy I had it situated with him and that he’s fixing all the issues that were caused by the previous admin and making it right to the community. Was 100 percent sincere and I’m happy to keep coming back.

I had used PII for a couple years but unfortunately stopped coming here due to absolutely poor communication. I brought in my WRX as there was a weird issue that was causing it do die instantly after turning the key over. Initially, Jonathan was nice enough to allow me to tow the car over to his shop on a Sunday and leave it for him to look over the next few days. What proceeded to happen is completely inexplicable. The quality of work from Performance Import Industries (PII) is absolute trash. I paid this shop to upgrade the internals of engine heads with brand-new GSC components and to assemble them with new head gaskets and timing belt components. In the end, they couldn't successfully do the work I paid them to do. The car didn't even make it to 200 miles on the new engine build. It was just problem after problem. The first day I drove the car home from the shop, the car battery almost exploded on the way home. They overcharged it and couldn't accept full responsibility (AGM battery was only a year old). After ordering a new battery and installing it myself, I started the car and found coolant leaking from the bottom radiator hose, so I fixed that myself as well. After driving the car that day, I
