Pick-n-Pull

I am extremely disappointed with Pick-n-Pull Windsor. Their pricing is completely unreasonable for a self-serve junkyard. They are charging MORE than the cost of brand-new parts from regular auto parts stores — for USED parts. Customers come to a salvage yard expecting fair pricing for second-hand parts that come with no guarantees and visible wear. Instead, they are pricing these used components at levels that exceed new retail prices. That is unacceptable and feels exploitative. These are salvaged parts pulled from wrecked vehicles — not new, not refurbished, and not warrantied like brand-new parts. Charging more than new for used inventory shows a lack of transparency and fairness toward customers. I strongly advise others to compare prices before purchasing here. You may end up paying

I spent 3 hours in the facility today to turn my car in through the Clean Cars For All program. The pre-inspection in December went smoothly with a competent employee. Today, the employee was obviously out of his element. He had no customer service skills. When he asked me to sign and print my name on a DMV form, I did so. I saw immediately after my name a line for the date. I asked the employee the date, he gave it to me as he watched me complete the form, then he said he was supposed to date it so he had to complete a DMV error correction form. He had to call the Pick-N-Pull help line twice. The second call I ended up answering the question, but I didn't know what he needed until he waited in line for 4 callers. Then when he asked them the question, I answered it. He went out to my car 8

Picked up my car in December 29th, 2025 and forgot to send the check with tow truck driver, driver called Pick N Pull and I verified my address over the phone they said they would mail it. Two weeks later it's January 13th, 2026 I call and keep getting transfered around because "I can't help you wrong dept". Lady tells me my check is at the yard it wasn't mailed as promised when tow truck driver called two weeks prior. Asked if I wanted to drive nearly an hour for pick up, now I have to wait several more weeks for maied check because someone didn't do their job two weeks ago and mail it when I was on the phone with them verifying the mailing address.

The staff at Pick-n-Pull made the process of using the Bay Area District Vehicle Buyback Program absolutely worth it. They were organized, helpful, and made everything go smoothly from start to finish. Like anything, being prepared made a big difference — because I had my paperwork ready, the entire process took less than two hours. I was able to recoup $2,000 for my vehicle without needing to smog it, haggle with buyers, or deal with the stress of a private sale. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how easy they made it. A big thank you to the team for their help and for keeping the process as quick and straightforward as possible!

They don't answer the phone... they pick it up n then hang it up... if they don't want to answer the phone... y do they have one!!? Not very professional...
