Pecos Auto Repair truly went above and beyond for us. My son and I were driving from Seattle to Los Angeles when our car broke down on I-5. We managed to limp it into Pecos Auto Repair, and within seconds they had the car up on a lift and diagnosed the problem. What happened next honestly amazed us. They drove five hours to pick up the part we needed so we could get back on the road the same day. On top of that, the price they charged was very fair. Since we were stranded and had nowhere else to go, they kindly let us stay in the shop all day while the repair was being handled. Everyone there was incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful during a stressful situation. It’s rare to find people who care that much about helping someone in a tough spot. We’re so grateful for their generosity

I hit a truck tire in my lane on the Interstate 5. Drove to shop and Antonio greeted me and immediately put my car on the rack. He was very knowledgeable and upon inspection no damage done ! Kindness still exists in our world. Thank you so much!! Would highly recommend this shop.

Brought my BMW in because every other shop was saying they didn’t have the correct tools for my car. Appreciate how picos used only factory parts straight from BMW Dealer. Trusted family owned shop in Los banos probably wouldn’t trust anyone else to work on my 335i other than picos. Ask for Ramon!

When I see an auto repair shop advertising “Free Diagnostic” I roll my eyes. I expect to wait for a “non-busy” moment, then a quick look, and then to be told I need more thorough testing. What I got from Ramon was completely different: he stopped what he was doing when I showed up without an appointment, he did more diagnostic testing then my car has ever been through, and then he got his hands dirty cleaning out the air filter and the MASF! How did my random stalled engine become his top priority? He gave me a lot of good information about my specific vehicle as well. All this completed in 108 degree heat! I agree with other reviewers that this shop provides outstanding service.

We were concerned about a strange sound that we occasionally heard while stirring. We just drove by and asked whether they could have a quick look. The guys took time to quickly lift our van and see whats going on. As everything looked fine, they took away our concerns without asking any money. Very helpful and kind people.
