Find a local mechanic for engine work if possible. If that’s not an option be prepared for repeating visits and high prices. I’m prefacing this to be fair to Platinum Chevy’s service department, but I neglected my car for a year from not having the finances to service a check engine light. When I was finally in a position to do so I brought my car here to get a myriad of tune ups to make up for that neglect, but primarily to service a recall order on my vehicle and get all the work needed on my engine in order to pass smog. During my first visit, I explained I wanted to get everything fixed regarding the engine so I could pass smog.
