I simply must leave a review for this auto repair shop because it is hands down the best shop I have ever encountered. The service here is nothing short of impeccable! Every single employee is incredibly professional, polite, and eager to assist in any situation. My car was repaired with such speed and precision that I was utterly amazed. The difference in its performance was immediately noticeable. They explain all the repair details in such simple and understandable terms, which I greatly appreciated. Most reasonable, honest mechanics I've found in Pinellas county. Edwin and his brother (forgot his name) were very friendly, and straight forward. Did a transmission swap for my 2003 Dodge ram 1500 hemi in one day. Amazing price. 10000000% recommend this shop.

My engine light came on and it was flashing, Portillo auto repair was recommended by a friend and they were close by therefore I decided to give them a try. Edwin was very nice and adjusted me to his schedule to diagnose the car. He was able to fix it and the car is running fine now. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I wish he communicated with me a little bit more through text or call. I do recommend him, and his prices are fair.

I can only echo what has been commented in other reviews. Nothing but positive things to say. Family owned and operated. Edwin is a great guy, very accommodating. They are my go to repair shop now. :) JD
