My experience with Precision Paint and Collision was extremely disappointing. I brought my vehicle in for a tear down only. I did not authorize repairs. However, repairs were completed that I did not approve and that my insurance company later declined to cover, stating they were unrelated to the accident. When I dropped off my vehicle, I clearly stated that it was for a tear down only, and I was told that this was noted. I was then presented with a document to sign, which I understood at the time to be related to authorizing a tear down. I later learned that the document contained broader authorization language that was relied upon to proceed with repairs. I did not intend to authorize full repairs beyond a tear down. I dropped my car off on Monday for damage to the driver-side back door. I was given an estimate of $1,100 and told the repairs would be completed by Wednesday. When I called on Wednesday for an update, I was then told the car would be ready by Friday. On Friday morning, I called again just to check the status and was informed that no work had even been started and that a new estimate would be sent to me. Shortly after, I received an email with a revised estimate of $2,900, nearly triple the original amount. I immediately told them I did not authorize this and that I would be picking up my vehicle. Honestly the best place I’ve been. The prices they gave were great and were very easy to work with. I got my car back fast, and they were more than willing to fix any issues I could have had with their work. The paint job was amazing.
