I really feel that this company deserves a five-star review.. all the way two thumbs up hands down the greatest mechanical experience I've ever had.. went in to get some tires for my truck and not only in less than an hour was I out of there they put them on and took the old ones off no charge found a great deal good service quick thorough friendly great job you guys

Saw all the negative reviews and honestly was surprised... They've helped me out in binds several times from steering knuckles on July 3rd at 3 pm and had it pulled by 3:30pm, charged me very reasonably for the knuckle when it had a good bearing/hub In it still. Have about a half dozen experiences just like that.

*****BUYER BEWARE!!!***** PURCHASED A USED TRANSMISSION FROM THESE CLOWNS AFTER CALLING TO CONFIRM AVAILABILITY & ACTUAL MILES ON UNIT. SPENT ABOUT 5 MINUTES ON THE PHONE WITH THE SECRETARY (APPARENTLY THE OWNERS WIFE). I AGRRED TO PURCHASE & SHE SAID THEY WOULD CALL ONCE THE UNIT HAD BEEN REMOVED WHICH SHE DID. I SENT MY DRIVER TO PICK TO UNIT UP & WHEN HE RETURNED WITH THE RECEIPT IT STATED THAT FOR THE WARRANTY TO REMAIN IN FORCE THE UNIT MUST BE INSTALLED BY A TRANSMISSION SHOP. SINCE SHE WAS AWARE PRIOR TO MY AGREEING TO PURCHASE THE UNIT THAT I AM A GARAGE THAT HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS OVER A DECADE THAT THIS MUST HAVE BEEN A MISTAKE. I CALLED TO CONFIRM THE UNIT WOULD HAVE A WARRANTY & SHE STATED "HE WILL WORK WITH YOU". FIVE MINUTES LATER I GOT A CALL FROM THE OWNER STATING I SHOULD CA

One person's experience doesn't mean it's that way for everyone. Mistakes happen and at times they get pretty busy. Here's my experience. I neededd a front strut for my 2008 Nitro they had one, I went down and picked it up, I didn't really give it a look over before paying for it the throwing it in the back of my vehicle, once I got back to Jamestown I stopped for gas at Dom's mobil on foote Ave. Where I decided to take a quick look at it and noticed the it was pretty well shot. I called Rareys once I got home and advised them of the issue they gladly found me another, I went back down the following day and exchanged it. Bought a motor from them that was advertised as a good running motor. when they pulled it out of the vehicle the threw it literally into a shed on the floor and then drug it around by the oil pan and crank pully, so I had to replace those parts. Also they OVER strip an engine meaning, parts that you can't buy and that need to stay on the engine they rip off and destroy what is left on there. They did so much damage to this motor that I should have just bought a new one. And the old man is super miserable so stay away from him. And DEFINATELY DON'T MENTION THAT YOUR A VETERAN OR ACTIVE MILITARY TO THEM, once you do everything is NO. This salvage yard should have its license pulled they are so bad.
