I recently visited John at Rear & Gears for help with a problem I was having with my 2014 Chevy Silverado. Although he doesn't specialize in transmissions, he was able to diagnose the issue and put my mind at ease by confirming that my axle/differential was not the cause of the problem. What sets John apart from other mechanics in the area is his honesty - if he is unable to work on a vehicle, he will not charge the customer. Overall, he is one of the few reliable and trustworthy mechanics around.

Went in to have my front diff on my 07 yukon fixed and he noticed a few other things that I already knew was wrong but didn't know he or asked if he'd do. He asked if I'd like him to do it since he was already past that issue to get to my diff. Was happy and grateful that he called and touched base with me to get it done. The price he quoted was still in the ballpark with the extra work done. THANK YOU!
