Would not recconmend this place on my worst enemy. I have just went through 02 of the exact same Cummins 871 engines. First one got 150 hrs and piled up bottom end bearings, 2nd engine got 52 hrs, not sure if cylinder head failed but burning coolant and metal everywhere in oil. Their warranty, ship us the engine while your truck is down for months. Terrible terrible engine builders.

Be aware that their warranty only covers parts cost. Would only let a dealership perform a head swap/in-frame as they will cover labor cost if the head is a bad reman. Have had 3 bad reman heads, two on a Detroit 60 12.7 and one on M11 from these guys over the last couple years. Best idea if you are having your mechanic in-frame or out is to tell them to get a head from your block manufacturer if available. I think the head cores are getting rebuilt so many times they have unseen flaws. Beware.

Be careful. Not only do they have poor communication as to what you are receiving or not receiving in your engine they took $1400 of my money in a made up "restock fee" that was never mentioned in any paperwork before they had my money. After I had issues with the engine and they didn't want to help I returned the engine because I was unsatisfied. Spent $1000 to ship it back and fourth at my expense that I'm not looking to get back also . All of a sudden they said there's a 15% restock fee and stole $1400 from me. If this fee was mentioned upfront before they had my money I would have no issue. I was never even given the opportunity to agree or disagree with the fee before I purchased and take my business elsewhere. Deceitful and disingenuous business practices!

Engine failed after 10,000 miles, bad knock as well as head gaskets failed just outside warranty period, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

If you want to have quality service done on your engine, this is the place. They do CATs, Detroits, Cummins and they're good.
