Dealing with car troubles can be overwhelming. It always seems to arise at the worst time, causing you to feel frantic amidst a life that is already full of surprises. When this happens, you look for someone you feel you can trust to provide you with clear guidance, expectations, and answers. During this winter I woke to no juice in my 2013 Kia, Soul. I had my car towed to Ron Tonkin Kia in Gladstone on McLoughlin blvd. In this case, my battery was purchased within two years from Tonkin Kia. They checked my battery, which was dead, and tried to recharge it. However it wouldn’t hold the charge. They were very nice and warrantied the battery out. They sent me a text saying I could pick up the car for no charge! How refreshing to know I can count on Ron Tonkin Kia. Jennifer knew that I was very stressed because of my financial issues. She was so patient with me and kept a positive attitude with me no matter what… Thank you, Jennifer, for being so professional with me. You truly represent the Tonkin family well!

From getting a same day appointment through to being taken to my car after paying for the services, there is nothing that I think was lacking. Professional, great communication, upfront pricing so I knew what to expect and offering payment options. Very positive experience and I will be a returning customer.

Initially, I was a little disappointed to discover that the brand-new car I purchased had an electrical issue with the rear seat warmer, requiring a return visit for service. However, Christian, our service advisor, completely turned the experience around. He was patient, professional, and prompt in diagnosing and fixing the issue. We were even provided a brand-new loaner vehicle and were able to drive back home the same day in our own new car. Truly impressed with the level of customer care and commitment to making things right!
