I would give 6 stars if I could. On New Year's Day 2025 I bought a 1976 F-250 4WD and had it towed to Ron's. The tags expired in 2014 and the truck had been rode hard and put away wet all its life as a lifelong Oregon farm rig. 6 months later I am still getting dried mud, rocks and other garbage out of all the nooks and crannies. It ran but rough, and had zilch for brakes. I let Ron know I wanted to be able to drive it up I-5 a few hundred miles home and that I understood this was a big project and he had other stuff on his plate in the meantime. To his credit, he didn't laugh at me for wanting to save a beat down old truck with a bed the previous owner described as non-salvageable (it's still on the truck, and is salvageable). I've had Ron fix a couple of my vehicles. He's even given me advice on how to fix them myself a few times. Ron is as quick as he can be, gets the job done right, and above all HONEST about what needs to be done. He even has a tow truck if needed.

Ron replaced the timing chain on my truck a short while back and I am so happy with the results. No More Rattles under the hood! He did a great job and was attentive to each little detail. New water pump, gave the oil pan a good going over and replaced seals and gaskets. Put my favorite oil in at my request. Just a very positive experience all said and done. My new mechanic!

Came recommended to me by a work colleague. He stays booked for a good reason. Very honest and knowledgeable; does a fantastic job with your vehicles and is very direct. Would highly recommend taking your vehicle to this guy if you need mechanic work in the grants pass area. Cannot recommend enough.
