My car was making a high-pitched squeaking noise when starting, so I brought it to this shop for repair. First, they said the belt tensioner was broken and charged me $350, assuring me the noise would be gone. The very next day, the same noise returned. Then they claimed the belt needed to be replaced and charged an additional $60. One day later, the same annoying noise came back again. When I brought the car in for a third time, they said a “more detailed inspection” was needed, and dismissively told me that the noise was “less than before,” as if that made the problem acceptable. This made me seriously question how $410 was charged without a proper diagnosis in the first place. I never saw any notes taken or signs of a thorough inspection. I called on a Saturday hoping to get an inspection done, and while they don’t do inspections that day, they were incredibly polite and took the time to recommend another local shop they knew would be open. That small gesture made my day far less stressful, and I really appreciated them pointing me in the right direction instead of just saying no.
