Ryder Used Truck Sales

Mr. Elando Johnson was very professional and his communication and customer service were exceptional. A purchase of this magnitude is stressful to say the least, and any issue that arises, no matter how big or how small, is monumental to the purchaser. Mr. Johnson was able to find a solution that we could all agree on and be happy with. I would highly recommend working with him.

Bought 2 tractors from Ryder at this location, the sales process was easy and straightforward, however; I paid high dollar for these two units that were "certified," and "ready-to-go." These units were not ready-to-go, they were not fueled (I thought they would be), and they both had issues immediately. One had issues with the transmission shifting from second to third, one had steering issues. They immediately had to go to the Ryder shop in Tampa next day, when they were brought down, and sat there for about 2 weeks for repairs. My first time buying with Ryder and I am not pleased with the condition of the trucks. Units 665663 and 665666

THEY SELL LEMONS Update just made my first truck payment I have an engine on, and it’s something else wrong. I hear air pressure when I hit the gas and when I go in reverse it get worse and a leak my the engine oil. Im in Kentucky praying I can make it home safely. Do NOT go here unless you have extra money to put into the truck as soon as you leave the lot. Thank God I bought a 2 year warranty. Go elsewhere. They are selling people lemons. Nothing like the check engine light and def light coming on 8 miles later when you leave the lot Update: Zane called me and I could tell he was concerned about making sure my truck was ok. He made some suggestions that I will try to get the light off. And hopefully that works. I will keep everyone updated and will definitely update my status!! Thanks

I went to Ryders I search for Truck only but seeing the professional act from the manager who is Mr. Elando made me realized I am in the right place. Upon seeing his act of discipline and kind gesture not only to the customer but also to those working with him got my heart to go with any Truck, finally when I test drove the Truck I picked them I realized that it’s not just his kind gesture but also the company had very good Truck for business. Buyers beware!!!!!!! My wife and I went to Ryder’s used truck sales in Charlette North Carolina on 05/15/2020 and was greeted by a salesman by the name Mr. E. Johnson to purchase a twenty-six-foot box truck that we paid for out of pocket might I add. We drove five and a half hours to be treated like our business wasn’t important! As we did a walk around of the truck with our mechanic that we brought with us to find issues before we took the truck all the way home we stated the issues to the salesman and he stated that “we can write it down if we wanted to but, that doesn’t mean that its going to be taken care of”.
