UPDATE: our second time buying. Super easy experience! This is the second time we purchased a semi- tractor with Ryder in Warwick, RI. Online deposits and payments. Quick signing of paperwork and we were out the door. They even pointed us in the right direction for same day VIN check. We will be back to buy again! Friendly, knowledgeable people. So many vehicles to choose from. Great prices. Will definitely buy from them again!
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! We flew out to pick this truck up on a Monday, they knew we were coming. You would think Friday they would make sure everything was good to go. We get there, check engine light is on. We have a 14 hour drive home. They took almost 5 hours replaced 2 sensors. Shortly after getting started the asb light came on, transmission started making noise suspension is shot, then check engine light came on again. Now we have another check engine light on and we are 5 hours from home praying we make it so we can have the truck serviced. We did buy the extended warranty thank God but this is been one of the worst buying experience ever. They obviously don't really take care of the "Ryder certified" vehicles like they claimed.
Brian P. Steere is awesome! I have purchased 15 trucks from him over the last 20+ years. He is straightforward and very reasonable. I have also recommended him to multiple business owner friends. I highly recommend this location.
By far worst experience ever!!! Spent 60k on 26 ft box truck, to get it and doesn’t pass md state inspection. Had to get front and back brake shoes and drums that cost me around $1,700 smh 2 weeks later engine light comes on and needs new fuel injectors. Lauren over at ryder is the worst person to deal with she’s a liar and always has an attitude. Don’t go here for your truck. Not to mention i bought mine certified.
Shady sales manager would not pull codes on a truck, as a direct result I am 1000 miles away in a broken truck. I would NEVER buy a truck from this business. Shop Penske or Bayshore Ford out of New Castle DE instead, you won't regret this advice from someone who drives these trucks everyday.
