The technician arrived on time, but the professionalism ended there. He hadn't brought the required top trim piece and only realized it after we discussed the installation details; I’m left wondering if he would have reused the old part had I not spoken up. After a rushed hand-off, I later found my rearview mirror was incorrectly installed. I value a quick turnaround, but speed should never come at the cost of safety and honest communication. I later contacted the technician and he agreed to come back and fix it. I appreciate the accountability.

From the moment he arrived, he was friendly, funny, and incredibly personable—he made what could’ve been an annoying windshield repair genuinely enjoyable. His professionalism and attention to detail were top-notch, and he clearly knew exactly what he was doing. What really set A.D. apart was his attitude. He kept things light, explained the process clearly, and made us feel completely at ease the entire time. Because of him alone, we will absolutely be using Safelite again in the future. If you’re lucky enough to get A.D. as your technician, you’re in great hands.

My husband took my vehicle into Safelite on 1301 Carrier Dr, Charlotte, NC 28216 for a simple small ping on my windshield on Saturday February 14th 2026 Valentine's Day, in which it was a nightmare for me, Marquail Avant stated he is the manager and he was the one that damage my windshield , Marquail drove my car back into the place to repair , didn't discuss anything with my husband James ,which is 77 years old, noone talked to him about anything, to explain an option, or  the process, and what all it entails. Safelite is absolutely amazing. I have used them throughout the years with different auto insurances and it has always been a breeze. Their website was so simple and easy to schedule. A lot of available dates and times which worked great for me. They came to my work in uptown, Charlotte, which I did not have to take takeoff time. Jordan, my Safelite technician, was very communicative throughout the whole day. He called me first thing in the morning to let me know what the plan was and then text me when he was on the way. I met him in person and he was a professional and thorough. His work was perfection and afterwards gave me all the information I needed to make sure that my windshield would be perfect. I had a great experience with Safelite mobile windshield replacement. Initially I had an appointment to take my car in to have the windshield replaced (that was NOT the best experience). Safelite kept my car all day even though I had a early morning appointment. and did They did not call me to inform me that they were starting the replacement until 4pm (I was supposed to pick the car up by 4:30 PM ). I was contacted while riding in an Uber on the way back to pick up the car. When Safelite called, the technician informed me that he could not replace the glass because the new windshield that they were going to install had scratches on it. So I spent $60 dollars in riding share expenses and did not get my windshield replaced. Fortunately they had another appointment the following Saturday
