Sanford Honda Service Department

Just left the service department after having 2 appts for two separate vehicles. My first vehicle was said to have a $60 coupon on it which was nowhere reflected on the receipt. Both receipts had an additional charge for “supplies/doc” which also reflects no specifics as to what those supplies/docs were. I also was charged a 3% credit card charge which was not divulged at the time of check out. It’s true. There is still an unrelenting amount of dishonesty and taking advantage of at auto service locations. Awful that other Honda service departments will get a bad rap for locations such as this.

Had a missing lug nut after tire rotation and oil change, tire pressure on one tire was at 12 psi should have been at 52, never reset my maint. via dash. Not thorough at all. Verify everything before you leave. My mistake for not doing so.

Went due to a light that came on regarding my battery. Was told that the piece was not up for recall and charged me around 600 dollars to get it "inspected for faulty sensors." Light was still on after being told that it was fixed. I later found out was a faulty recall part by an independent mechanic, and charged me little to no fee. Please make sure to make your research or get a 2nd opinion before getting charged a hefty amount!

My wife bought her car from Sanford Honda in 2019 and has gotten free oil changes for as long as she owns the car. They do have free coffee and water. There's a vending machine in the waiting area. They will clean your car if you request one.

I am waiting for part to be replaced on my truck. I have not heard from them. I keep calling, keep saying the part is on back-order. It has been over 40 days and have not heard anything. I guess since the part is under warranty, I don't matter. Not even a call to let me know what's happening. Just frustrating.
