The vehicle is a rebuilt restored title, The cosmetic repairs are acceptable. I failed to notice a major piece of equipment that was repaired and signed off and certified as safe. The rear hitch receiver is misaligned and not properly attached to the frame of the vehicle, Entering the ability to tow safely per factory spec and rating. This defect directly violates multiple provisions of the Utah Code that govern rebuilt vehicles and vehicle safety, Utah Code § 41-1a-205 – Requires every rebuilt/restored vehicle to pass a safety inspection certifying that it is safe to operate on Utah highways in
