Service Center - Suburban Nissan of Farmington Hills

I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. Over the phone, their customer service assured me that they would honor the Nissan complimentary maintenance plan after verifying my VIN. Based on that confirmation, I made the trip to the dealer on a cold, snowy day. However, upon arrival, I was told that they did not see any service contract in their system. This was a clear case of miscommunication and, frankly, dishonesty. Not only did it waste my time, but it also wasted theirs. Customers rely on accurate information when making service appointments, and this kind of inconsistency erodes trust. Great servicie. But when you purchase a car in any agency please don't add any protection service additional to your vehicle., you never use that and it is a waste of money. Just buy your car and save money for upgrades by your self.

First, the good. My oil change was a walk-in, and I did not have an appointment. Not only my car got serviced, it was done withon reasonable time. Unfortunately, the techs did not turn off the dashboard maintenance message about oil change and tire rotation. I have only noticed it back home. Another new and unpleasant experience, there were food grease stains on the top of dashboard, as if someone had unwrapped their lunch and smeared the surface.

I took my vehicle to Nissan Farmington Service department on March 7, 2025, because the brakes were making some noise. At two different times I was told and shown a Video that the brakes on my Nissan Rogue were fine and that they didn't need replacing for another 10,000 miles by Robert the Service Rep. A month later I took it in for a oil change and tire rotation; it was the close to closing time, and when I drove off it was making a unfamiliar sound. I called back on Monday to report the noise and to have them check it out, when I left, the noise was much louder. I was told by Rachel another Service Rep. that they could rotate the tires back; charge me again and for a wheel alignment. At this point, I don't trust these people!
