Kevin and the crew are great! They took the time to understand what was causing the electrical issues on my 2004 Jeep Wrangler, I am very thankful for their persistence and help to get me back on the road!

Kevin is an amazing guy. He is honest (which is a rare fund), prompt, and knowledgeable. He used to contribute to NPR’s “Car Talk” with Click and Clack 😀. He never pushes wxtra work that you don’t need and never overcharges. Highly recommend!

I went to Service Techniques because my AC had stopped working. I paid $1,600 for the repair, but the issue was never actually fixed. Over the next few months, I brought my car back four or five times, only to be told each visit that nothing was wrong and everything was functioning normally. Meanwhile, my AC continued to fail. When I finally went back again, I was told that my compressor was dying and it would cost an additional $2,300 to repair. At this point, I felt like my time and money had been completely wasted. The only reason I am giving two stars is because Kevin, the owner, is very kind. However, I am left feeling frustrated, confused, and disappointed that the original problem was not resolved despite multiple visits and a significant initial payment.

By far my worst experience dealing with any kind of business or service. Please be super careful and cautious if you have any plans in taking your car for service. I called the shop on a Monday and they did not get to it until Friday, that was the easy part of all this nightmare situation. The car doesn’t crank over and I was referred by a mechanic to take it to a shop that works on the electrical components of the car, so I did. I came by a few times to the shop to check on the progress and the car was still parked at the same location. When I got there and tried to explain what was wrong with my car I got different answers with one of the mechanics stating it could be the starter and the mechanic stated the engine was seized. I could not be happier with the service I get at Service Techniques. I was sold a product affiliated with the charging system and when I took it to Kevin he drove around with me and checked and double checked that I did, in fact, not need a new alternator. Took it back and saved money. This is a shop you can trust.
