Since they keep deleting my review. I entrusted Setauket Auto Body with my new Honda Accord after getting hit by a drunk driver. Since they keep cars out overnight I received a call that all 4 new tires and rims were stolen. They obtained a police report without calling me. Frank Sr advised police that they don't have security cameras. He told me otherwise. Also advised me this is on my insurance. In fact shops liability and insurance. After having a police officer call me to intimidate me into using my insurance. Fact was it was his responsibility to cover his lack of security. These guys are crooks.

I just had my car fixed at Setauket Auto Body . I'd like to thank the company and All who worked on my car, YOU DID AN EXCELLENT JOB! Jean took care of everything I needed from start to finish and also took care of setting up the rental from dropping it off to picking it up. They informed me of progress weekly and had it done on the day they said they would. Joe took care of my estimate and Had my car detailed . When I got my car back it looked better then it EVER did!!!! IT LOOKS BRAND NEW .!!! Everything about my experience with SETAUKET AUTO BODY WAS 5 STAR. THANK YOU !

I do not recommend this business at all! The one star is being too kind! The cosmetic part of the repair was ok! It was when they decided to bang out my dads rim which resulted in a slow leak in the tire. He called to tell them. Their answer was that there was nothing they can do! The rim is not avaliable anywhere basically washing their hands of a failed repair! I would not recommend this place at all my dad is 81 yrs old and was sent away with a car that was unsafe to drive. All it took for them to do is send it to a machinist! To round out the rim. Extremely unprofessional and dissatisfied all around. My dad could have gotten into another accident with their terrible cheap way out! Unacceptable all around!

These guys are amazing! Joe and Frankie are GREAT. They finished my car 10 days before the date I was originally given. My car looks new! They detailed it beautifully. Unreal!

I had my car repaired at this body shop after a collision. While they did complete the physical repairs, they returned the vehicle with a completely non-functional entertainment system — no radio, no audio at all. When I brought this up, they told me they didn’t know how to fix it and advised me to take it to the dealership. I ended up doing that and was charged $200 for the repair. Afterward, I tried contacting the body shop multiple times to see if they could assist with the reimbursement process through the insurance or warranty, but they’ve been avoiding my calls and have not followed up. I’m disappointed with the lack of accountability and poor communication after the job was done. It's frustrating to deal with added costs and no support afterwords.
