Recently took my truck here to have them mount and balance 4 new tires as I was in dire need of replacements before winter. Overall had a great experience with the shops team and was pleased to have all new tires working good with no vibrations and rolling smooth again at highway speeds. (Old tires were pretty shot and had a slipped belt which induced vibrations at various speeds.) After a week or so of driving it came time for me to re adjust my tire pressures as they had gained pressure from the recently good weather we've had this November! Upon checking each tire I noticed there was a new TPMS sensor that was replaced on the RR tire which was not the same type as the original TPMS sensors the truck had from factory. I’ve been a customer for about 5 years now with a lot of fixes and money spent on my truck and other family vehicles. I’ve had little problems (except maybe with pricing) until recently. Around 2 years ago my F-150 started making grinding noises when I went to start it up. I took it to Shawnee Auto Center and they replaced my starter. About 6 months ago I began hearing the same noises again but it was sporadic. The problem eventually got worse and I brought it back in month ago asking them to check elsewhere like the flex plate or flywheel. They called me back saying the starter needed to be replaced again so I agreed (assuming that they looked into the flex plate or flywheel as the possible problem). A little tardy on the review, however, it's NOT because Shawnee Auto Center got a bad one! The folks there are awesome. Went there on recommendation of employees of the old Weaver's Auto Center for service / repair of wife's 2011 Jeep Wrangler. Went in expecting to spend ~$2000 on ball joints, etc that other dealerships had said were in "dangerous need of repair." We left just needing under $600 worth of work and the wife drove away with that great feeling when they said the expected repair wasn't needed and the Jeep "rode great" after the other repair. We have other vehicles we will now be bringing to them - so get ready for the work! Thanks fellas.
