Shell car wash

The machine took my $5, then claimed I had only put in $3. There's no return or cancel button. Was given a code from inside the station to put in the machine to get a car wash, but since there's no cancel button, it was just stuck saying it had $3 and would not allow me to do anything else. The lady inside turned the whole car wash off and on again and it made no difference. She said she'd have to have someone come look at the machine. Also mentioned it does well with quarters, but not so much with dollars. Considering the cheapest wash is $5, that's pretty bad. I was not able to get a refund, but was given a coupon for a free wash to use whenever their machine is working again. Only positive is the woman inside was polite and I felt like she tried to do what she could.

Tried 3 different cards and the machine said “card interface error.” All 3 cards have been used today and are fine. Complete waste of time waiting in line for this carwash.
