S&J SMALLENGINE REPAIR

Great work and honest shop. Have had a few mowers fixed by these guys and as someone who greatly values honesty, after having gone to several other “reputable” small engine shops, these guys have the decency to call to let you know before they repair the mower without adding extra charges/pointless parts. Definitely recommend, and don’t be fooled by these negative reviews since those that leave them simply do not understand how the real world works when it comes to equipment repairs, but truly, see for yourself and try them out if you need anything repaired.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! I had a John Deere greens mower that needed new bearings. It lasted one mow before it needed to be repaired again. They blamed it on me they said they don’t warranty their work. I sent it back and they “replaced” the broken bearings again. It lasted 50’. I then took it to an actual reputable shop and they said S and J used the wrong parts, had missing parts when reinstalled. They refused a refund and now avoiding my calls. These people are crooks and very incompetent!!!

Very good job. I took my mule because it wouldn't start and needed service, and they fixed it. Oscar explained everything to me in detail and helped me a lot. I had no way to take it to the shop, and they offered me the pickup/delivery service. Very happy, I recommend them.

I took my 4-wheeler because it was having trouble starting. They gave me a quick estimate, explained everything well before proceeding with the repair, and when the repair was done, they showed me the parts they had replaced and helped me load it onto my trailer. Very good service I highly recommend it.

Trust the reviews!! I went against the bad reviews to give this place a chance even after owner would not answer my calls from either locations numbers I showed up right when they opened with the intent on dropping off for repair or buying one of the mowers out front upon arrival none of the mowers at shop run all need tires they are just for looks to bring people in for repairs wanted to take a 120$ deposit and said it would be 2 weeks before quote for work can be given. I was left by my truck waiting for owner to show up he walked past me went inside and did not try to help me after speaking with mechanic who told me it would be 1900$ to fix the rocker arms and pushrods on my mower i will not be back stay clear from this place..
