During my appointment with Brett, I noticed a strong odor of alcohol while my vehicle was being serviced and driven, which raised serious safety concerns. I was charged approximately $300 for a part that commonly retails for around $40. Even accounting for normal shop markup, that difference felt excessive. Based on this experience, I left with little confidence in the professionalism of the service provided.

Awesome job- communicated the issue gave options for the repair of immediate and longer term issues. Got the job done as soon as I oked the repair. Price was very reasonable. It is nice to have a smaller family shop that you can trust in the area.

If you’re looking for a great mechanic who is honest, hardworking and knowledgeable- look no further. He serviced the coolant, fluids in my transmission, did the oil, lube and filter, rotated the tires and did an overall vehicle inspection. My entire family will be entrusting their cars to him.

I was given an estimate for repairs from another repair shop. Smilek’s is close to my house, so I thought I’d see if they could do the repairs cheaper. Brett was honest about what I needed and what I didn’t need, saving me quite a bit of money. I will be going back to Smilek’s for any repairs and routine maintenance I need.
